What do you need for resin art?
Most resin projects need the same few tools: cups to measure and mix the resin accurately, sticks to stir it thoroughly, and brushes or spreaders to move it where you want it. Effects such as foil flakes, glitter and glow pigments are optional extras.
Accurate measuring and thorough mixing are the two biggest factors in a good cure, so good cups and sticks are worth having on hand.

How to use resin tools

Set up
Work on a flat, level, covered surface and have your cups, sticks and gloves ready before you open the resin.

Measure accurately
Measure each part of the resin carefully in a marked mixing cup, following the mix ratio on the resin.

Mix thoroughly
Stir slowly and fully with a mixing stick, scraping the sides and base of the cup.

Add effects
Stir in pigment, glitter or glow powder, or sprinkle foil flakes into the pour.
5
Pour, spread and clean up
Pour, spread with a silicone brush, then wipe reusable silicone tools with alcohol.
Always test a small amount first
Different resins and additives behave a little differently. Test a small amount of any new pigment, glitter or foil with your resin before starting your final piece.
